The layers of right wing propaganda [View all]

You know I've been thinking a lot about Bari Weiss and her goal of turning CBS into a right wing propaganda machine, and how insidious I think what they are doing is.

There are so many layers of right wing propaganda now, from frothing insanity (your Info Wars stuff), to right wing outright lies (your Newsmax type stuff), to your misinformation (Fox News) and now CBS..........

I don't think they want to make CBS into a "newsmax" or even a "Fox news". I think the right wing wants a way to reach everyone with their lies and they know most people are turning CBS off if they go "Newsmax" with their coverage, so they are trying to be much more insidious about their coverage on CBS. Lay on the right wing bs but not so strong, so that they can convince your "moderate" voter that this is "real news". In other words, they don't need another Newsmax, they already have that! What they need is "Newsmax light" to help them brainwash even more people.

Then again when I see Erika Kirk smeared all over every CBS article, I wonder if I'm giving them too much credit, and they really DO intend to go full Newsmax!
