Then Vance steps down from the top post and they switch places.

Somehow that's supposed to work because of how the term limit amendment is worded.

If it were even something to worry about, there is at least another SCOTUS opinion in it when they are confronted with the question of presidential succession and how it skips constitutionally disqualified persons.
