4. Was thinking if we travel abroad to have buttons to wear that say "I hate Trump too! We're friends!"

Although we are native born US citizens my wife worries that if we travel, somehow our DU, Indivisible and other anti-Trump/GOP activities will get us flagged and hassled by CBP. I doubt that but I do worry that other countries will adopt similar stupid CBP like moves on US citizens as a form of tit for tat. I wouldn't blame them anyway but it would be a rude and vacation ruining experience at the start of a foreign trip. I'd hate to be a travel agent right now facing these sort of concerns after finally digging out from Covid.
