8. It makes perfect sense.

1.nBillionaires believe all the wealth and resources in the world belong to them.
It is an addiction, they will destroy everything to get their drug of choice, cash.

2. They refuse to pay for the old, sick, infirm. These are useless eaters
who do not make them richer.

3. They do not want to pay for food, housing, healthcare, retirement for any one else.

4. They also know climate change is real. They refuse to pay for prevention or repair. There will be widespread chaos and destruction.

5. The rich are stealing as much as they can now before it all goes sideways.
They are building their bolt holes and safety net.
