for many reasons, but the biggest one is that it "speeds" you up, so to speak.
But, actually those who take it for ADHD or Narcolepsy, know that this is not true. In fact, Adderall helps us to keep our focus and allows that split-second, to think before we act or speak, along with many other great benefits. It's called the "paradox effect". I know, because I was diagnosed with ADHD many years ago as an adult. When I took that first ADHD med (tried several until the right one fit), I felt the fog clear and I could actually listen to a boring speech or conversation without my eyes rolling to the back of my head. As a Special ED teacher, I have seen amazing results with it when used correctly
