With it’s identity as a Russian military entity somewhat masked under corporate veil,


"Oboronlogistika" just means "defense logistics." I find that masked like a wolf in an incredibly lifelike wolf suit is "in disguise."

As for the ship's name ... "Ursa Major" ... That's Latin for "greater bear." Not that anything thinks of "bear" and "Russia" as being related in any metaphorical or symbolic sense.

Part of me rather hopes that Germany or Ukraine or the US did this and it's not just random Russian incompetence, and that we're participating in Russia's shadow war against the West/Ukr instead of just proclaiming one's outrage at it and then proudly not participating in it. (We're all about defense, but the inevitable of a purely defensive war stripped of all offense is more commonly known as "defeat"--maybe partial, maybe total. But "victory" in such cases is "victory because we could have lost much worse" ... in other words, defeat.)
