I suspect that the US military and intelligence agencies know more than they want to say.

I think part of this is indeed a real issue and then there are some banging the drum with unfounded theories,
Pentagon needs to realize that there non-responsiveness is causing more concern.

They may not want to admit that there are more unknowns than knowns. It’s hard because our adversaries are watching. Is this just happening in US ? Something is not quite adding up.
