Will any Dems OBJECT to Trump under ELECTORAL COUNT ACT? - Meidas Touch

It’s time again for Michael Popok to go to the blackboard to take a hard look at new calls to use the Electoral Count Act to have 20 percent of House and Senate members lodge an objection to Trump’s Electoral College votes to have Kamala win the presidency after all.

Does the 14th Amendment allow it, and will this MAGA Supreme Court find that unless Congress acts to declare Trump an insurrectionist, all 14th Amendment attacks are useless? Michael Popok explains. - 12/30/2024.

He was an insurrectionist, they just allowed him to be on the ballot, because 1 state, SCOTUS said, could not interfere with who was on the ballot of a federal election...

Constitution does not even say that, but that is what they ruled on.

In one state made a ruling that doesn't make him a convicted insurrectionist. It doesn't make him an impeached insurrectionist. He won, move on and win the next election.

There's nothing in the 14th amendment that says he has to be convicted of insurrection. It does say that in order for tRump to overcome this disability 2/3 of Congress can vote to remove the disability. Just call for a vote to remove his disability when Congress reconvenes. We watched him commit insurrection. At this point I think most people in this country would be relieved if wasn't able to remove his disability.

That says a civil determination in one state satisfies the disqualification requirement either.

Basic common sense is you need more, or you'd have red states doing it and then saying a future Dem President elect was disqualified.
We screwed up by not immediately charging him with insurrection incitement and convicting him, or by not impeaching him successfully (we being collectively as a nation not just Dems in the second half).

Grasping at this stuff serves no cause

It says clear as day an insurrectionist is disqualified. He's an insurrectionist. Democrats aren't doing their job if they seat him. Follow the Constitution or tRump will tear it up. If he takes office more than likely there won't be anymore free and fair election.

The Constitution clearly states NO person who has engaged in insurrection can hold any office.

From what I remember Colorado the state that brought the 14th amendment case to the Supremes held a hearing and determined that he had committed insurrection. The Supreme Court determined that he's not allowed to be President, but states can't stop him from running. I think they should object, we all watched him commit insurrection and give aid and comfort to our enemies.

That's all that's required.
Any random state can just decide someone is an insurrectionist, no trial, just declare it and boom done?

It's a complete waste of time and energy

That's exactly what they did to a politician in TX I believe Coe something or other, and the Supreme Court upheld it.

Malignant narcissistic insurectionist, he is threatening to trash our economy, attack our allies, Conquer sovereign allies, break our Constitution and the citizens, align himself with Nazis and the axis of evil.

He is an adjudicated insurrectionist, he can not hold any office in the U.S. call or email All YOUR REPRESENTATIVES IN Congress and tell them to vote NO CERTIFICATION OF INSURRECTIONISTS..
