you don't waste your money giving it to the rich because they don't need it. You give it to the poor so they get the help to move into the middle class.

At one time republicans repeated "run government like a business" like a mantra.
Then when they got the chance by making medicare and medicaid single payer for drugs and medical devices, they said no it wouldn't be fair.
A business that doesn't use its size for volume buying isn't going to be a business very long.
It was just more proof that they were full of shit.
