Before suing The Atlantic over its reporting about FBI director Kash Patel's drinking, attorney Jesse Binnall had a humiliating record of defeats in high-profile MAGA causes. He unsuccessfully tried to overturn Joe Biden's victory in Nevada, where the election wasn't particularly close.
His firm filed failed defamation lawsuits on behalf of ex-National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, former Rep. Devin Nunes and North Carolina's ex-Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, who recently admitted that he lied about his false denials of racist and inflammatory posts on a pornography website.
