I mean really connected the progression of how our country got to this place of inequality and backslid from where we were when more people could live off of one income. I know the video is from the last election cycle but this is a great and concise synopsis of the history and how we got to this point economically and politically. So tired of people spouting the trickle down theory. Thanks for all the references and details in the links.

more money to grab and a way to keep people in line. Don't want workers to have too much income, security and comfort. Instead keep them on edge and compliant so they won't cause trouble or make demands.

This was and is still done in many societies with men, dependent, powerless women and children and of course bound slaves with no wages.
