Since Trump and the US started this war if I were Iran I would want some mighty strong assurances that it won't

And there's the influence of Netanyahu who not only convinced the felon-in-chief to join in this war, and was still engaged in more bombings today.

The world only has a few weeks of buffers left. Traffic out of the straight has already been improving slightly. It will now take this week to clear the mines in time for a formal signing on Friday. The markets are clearly pricing this as a good enough deal.
