If Trump pulls off a successful regime change in Iran or Cuba without getting us bogged down in war or losing American lives in the process, he will look like a hero at home and abroad.

The midterms are one reason why he has set a June deadline for peace between Russia and Ukraine. Peace at all costs to Ukrainian sovereignty. But I think it will backfire if he sells out Ukraine.

Notice how he is sucking up to African Americans after his disgraceful Obama post? He got so much push back about it that he countered that with praise of Jesse Jackson. And now he is hosting an event to celebrate Black History Month. Sure, many Blacks will see through that, but if he pulls in some of them; it will help his numbers.

Removing immigrants from blue states reduces the states' populations which helps in reducing House members in those states since ALL people in a state are counted for the number of House reps that a state has. Removing residents from blue states is not only cruel in the way it is done, but is also a vote rigging tactic.

He is also threatening to post ICE agents at the polls in order to intimidate naturalized citizens.

I love the No Kings rallies and have participated in them. They are good for morale and for raising awareness of issues; but Trump will stop at nothing to halt the blue wave.

Now a normal person would ask what they were doing wrong and make every effort to change it to a more popular stance for the people. But that never occurs to the felon-in-chief, what immediately comes to his mind is how he can cheat to get around his immense unpopularity. It never dawns on him to do anything that's popular with the people, all he's using his unearned presidency for is to accumulate power and money. And if Americans don't like it, he gives that no thought, unlike his predecessors, he doubles down on his unpopular actions just to show them he's in charge.

I just can't envision three more years of this, getting worse every single day...

He really is deteriorating. I think he's pumped with drugs to function at all. His backers will pull him out eventually.

And we did learn that Reagan was suffering from dementia while in office. But with the felon-in-chief, his blatant actions like name calling, tantrums and falling asleep at inappropriate times make it much more obvious. And, as you said, unlike any other president, there's virtually nobody who could step into that office. He's surrounded himself with unqualified nutjobs only because he can depend on them to go along with whatever he says. So with him it's much more obvious than with Reagan.
