NEW in Pete Hegseth's mounting controversies: A security guard who left army after beating civilian - Deadline - MSNBC

NBC News correspondent Vaughn Hillyard, former Senator Claire McCaskill, CEO of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America Allison Jaslow, and Media Matters President Angelo Carusone join Alicia Menendez to discuss new reporting from the New York Times that Trump’s nominee to head the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth, is being escorted by a man who left the army after beating a civilian during a training exercise – a pattern for Hegseth who has a history of defending military members convicted of war crimes. - Aired on 12/17/2024.
