House passes bill to make the bald eagle the official U.S. bird - NBC News



The House passed a bill late Monday that officially makes the bald eagle the national bird. The bill now goes to President Biden for his signature. While most people thought the bald eagle already carried that distinction, it had never received full congressional approval. NBC News' Ryan Nobles reports.

but it does say Eagles and Ospreys are an abomination onto the Lord.

5. I thought that was because they ate the liver of Prometheus whilst he was alive. After that, eagles and oprey seem icky

One which is not averse to scavenging carrion. Seems to fit the last 100 years of history. A fierce enemy, maybe ill-versed in the art of being a friend?
