Report from Gaza: Palestinians Feel They Are Being "Slowly Exterminated" in Israel's Genocide

We go to Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, where we get an update from Arwa Damon of the humanitarian organization INARA on "deteriorating conditions" as Palestinians are "slowly exterminated" by disease and starvation caused by Israel's brutal siege. A special U.N. committee has found that Israel's actions in Gaza are "consistent with the characteristics of genocide." Palestinians in Gaza feel that "they are living through their own annihilation," says Damon. "There is actually a real sense that the worst is yet to come."

protesters on the situation in Gaza who refused to vote for Harris

As one of the protesters shortly after the October 7 attack yelled to reporters the threat, "enjoy trump", with the implications they would NOT vote for the Democratic nominee, I say to him, YOU ENJOY trump, you idiot.

They did the same thing by not voting for Hillary in 2016, and we lost the SC, but this time it is far worse.

Elections have consequences. They learned nothing in 2000, 2016, and they sealed it in 2024.

Now all the rights that people fought for from women's rights, worker's rights, civil right's, the environment, etc. good luck trying to get them back.

Do you not understand? It's a f****** GENOCIDE.

GEN-O-CIDE.

GOING ON FOR 13 MONTHS.

Supplying weapons for a genocide has consequences too. On electoral results, for example.

But shouldn't we try to stop a genocide instead of trying to deflect and blame-shift for its consequences? I mean what could be more important?

Maybe that's just me.

Hamas has made it clear they want to kill every Jew in the world. They invaded Israel a year ago and murdered 1200 people. That is also genocide. What did Hamas think would happen? Hamas doesn't have bombers to fight Israel with, and using Palestinians as human shields has failed. Hamas started the war and Israel is determined to finish it. With Trump willing to give Israel all of the armaments it wants it is just a matter of time before they start carpet bombing Gaza. Why Hamas thought it would end any other way I don't understand. Civilians are being killed just like they were in all previous wars from World War Two to Vietnam to Iraq. All wars are dirty wars. Hamas wants genocide, well they got it. It is horrible but that's why they call it war.

Hamas has called for ceasefire and peace negotiations which Netanyahu has turned down. He even assassinated the chief ceasefire negotiator because he doesn't want a permanent peace treaty with an organization that he enabled to power as a counter to the Palestinian Authority. Netanyahu is afraid of democracy, so Israel has become an apartheid state; afraid to confront its' own reality. Netanyahu is *rump's soulmate and we enabled him in these atrocities, even breaking our own laws.

The United Nations and vast majority of the world know this.

There is no justification for ethnic cleansing or genocide period, whether committed by a terrorist organization or a terrorist nation.
