(159,670 posts)1. President Biden and VP Harris has done an amazing job of keeping Putin from using tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine
After watching tonight's Last Word, I am so grateful that the USA had leaders like President Biden, VP Harris and Gen. Austin guiding us. It was very hard to keep Putin from using tactical nuclear weapons in this conflict

BREAKING: Bob Woodward's book, War, Just Out, describes Biden and Harris as very competent leaders when it comes to national security and Trump as the most reckless and impulsive president in American history. Woodward even concludes that Trump is worse than Richard Nixon and says, Donald Trump is not only the wrong man for the presidency, he is unfit to lead the country.
Woodward writes that as tensions escalated before Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Kamala Harris and Volodymyr Zelensky faced off in a critical moment. At the Munich Security Conference, Harris told Zelensky, "You really need to face a potentially imminent invasion." Zelensky, initially in denial, asked, "What do you want me to do?" Harris urged him to plan for the worst: "Start thinking about things like having a succession plan... have an escape plan... possibly mobilize more troops." Harris even told Zelensky that he might be captured or killed. All this while Zelensky and others did not believe US intelligence that Putin was really about to invade Ukraine.
