Welcome to the End of Life Issues forum

It'd be nice if such a group wasn't necessary, but hey, such is life.

although I am not currently in the midst of an end of life issue. My husband and I are 68 and I know it will come eventually. We also went through it with my father and his mother.

I would like to recommend a book I read on the subject about a year ago. The book is Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End by Atul Gawande. It gave me much to consider and made me a bit more sure about what I would want if and when I go through my own "end of life."
