I followed the Celtics as a child in Boston.

Rest In Peace, John Havlicek.

(11,722 posts)3. RIP Hondo.
He was a catalyst behind OSU's teams between 1960-62 that went 78-6, won three Big Ten championships, appeared in three national championship games and won the 1960 NCAA title for coach Fred Taylor.
Played with Jerry Lucas and Larry Siegfried. Bobby Knight sat on the bench.
Hondo was a true gentleman and one of the best of all time.
This makes me feel very sad and very old.
