I clearly was not a follower of her or her team, but the clarity with which she spoke was breath-taking. She was on point with every single word.

But you should really look up the video of her addressing why she does not hire male assistant coaches, her reasoning was sparkling.

Basically she pointed out that 99% of men's assistant coaches are male, yet there is no issue being made of that abnormality. She pointed out that only 10% of college athletic directors, something like 33% of the US House and 25% of the US Senate is female, even with women winning at record rate recently. She pointed out the very sparse number of female Fortune 500 company CEO's. She mentioned that the ERA has not been approved after over 49 years, eventhough only 38 states need to approve.

She certainly is no dumb basketball coach that knows nothing about issues in society outside of basketball. Her delineation of society's treatment of women was a tour de force. You really should look up the video to do yourself justice in seeing how compelling her statement was.
