Six-time WNBA All-Star Jewell Loyd has seemingly played her last game with the Storm.
Following the conclusion of an investigation stemming from a player alleging mistreatment from the coaching staff, the Storm found no findings of policy violations or any discrimination, harassment, or bullying, the team said in a statement released Wednesday afternoon.
Hours later, Loyd requested a trade, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Loyds relationship with fourth-year coach Noelle Quinn, which started as teammates when both played for the Storm, appears to be at an impasse.
The Storm selected Loyd with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 WNBA draft and the 5-foot-10 guard has been a fixture of teams that won league championships in 2018 and 2020.
