Spurs legend Sean Elliott recovering after his Apple Watch detected an irregular heartbeat

SAN ANTONIO - Former Spurs NBA star Sean Elliott is recovering after receiving a health warning from his Apple Watch, according to his wife Claudia Zapata.

Claudia shared on an Instagram post that the smartwatch detected an irregular heartbeat, indicating Atrial Fibrillation (A-Fib), despite Elliott experiencing no symptoms.

my Mom is in Afib right now. They've tried meds and electro schock treatments to get her back in rhythm but it hasn't worked. However, she's 79 years old and smoked for about 60 of those years. Elliott is a young man in comparison. Hope they can figure it out.

had it for a few years now. Had an ablation a year ago, and miraculously still afib free. Male and 70 y/o. Consider myself lucky...
