Jack Nicholson. It was his third movie. He played a guy who got off on pain, and had gone to see a dentist for a masochistic fix. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view), the dentist was being impersonated by Seymour Krelborn, who had created the ever-hungry Aubry Jr. hybrid. Nicholson's character's wish was granted, and he left the office with destroyed teeth and a grin on his face (ycch). That's the end of Nicholson's cameo.
