Watching The Sting......forget how really great this movie was....

Love it. Robert Redford and Paul Newman were just fantastic in this movie……all the other actors were just as good. A really great movie. 🥰 🥰 🥰

The casting, the soundtrack, the story, the costuming - perfection all the way around.

It totally had me when Johnny Hooker was fake shot, and I was so relieved when he got up off the floor.

Our older son is a fairly accomplished piano player, and one of his favorite pieces to play is Solace from this movie.

I definitely recommend hearing the whole thing. "The Sting" director George Roy Hill described it perfectly as "haunting".

"The Sting" is also one of my favorite movies. Robert Redford and Paul Newman never lose their power to dazzle. As pointed out above, the entire cast was pitch-perfect. With Johnny Hooker's strong bond with Luther and his family, in a time of deeply-ingrained racism, you knew he was one of the good guys, bad gambler or not.

The split-second timing of the con at the Western Union office is masterful, and always incredible fun to watch.

watch "Absence of Malice". It's a movie you must pay attention to. It's a very mental movie, but the book is even better.

Love every one of his works, even if the syncopation has my mind and fingers tied in knots and stepping all over each other.

Perfect pairing with the flow of the movie.

I especially appreciated the paint job.

If you had put half a million on Mystic Dan to win, you would have made $9 million.

I’ve watched The Sting, and I love it each time! The plot and the teaming of Paul Newman and Robert Redford, along with co stars Robert Shaw and Harold Gould - just brilliant!
