I never realized how deep Warren's fundraising ties run with David Brock's.
Looking up names I don't recognize from Warren's donor list...
- Thorton & Naumes, a law firm in Boston, Warren's #6. Top recipient of donations from this firm is "American Bridge 21st Century" - a Brock outfit.
- Nuance Communications, a Boston software company, Warren's #9. Top recipient of donations from this company is "American Bridge 21st Century"
- Ropes & Gray, lobbying/law firm, Warren's #12. Top recipient of donations from this firm is... you guessed it, Brock's "American Bridge 21st Century".
- Berger & Montague, more of the same.
So the top four Warren contributors who aren't well-known big name organizations all also give more to Brock than to anyone else. All four of them. What are the odds of this being coincidence?

(45,644 posts)2. Check again. PACs gave ZERO DOLLARS to Warren. Money was given by employees
I notice you took your other post down which made the same mistake of confusing PAC donations with individual donations.
Let me repeat what I said there:
You are confusing PACs with individual donors.
For example, Thorton and Naumes PAC gave zero dollarsto Senator Warren
Nuance PAC gave zero dollars to Senator Warren
Ropes & Gray PAC gave zero dollars to Senator Warren
Berger & Montague PAC gave zero dollars to Senator Warren.
The money donated came from individuals who work there, not PACs. Those individuals supported Warren w donations.
Please consider self-delete like you did with the other post.

(5,217 posts)3. If these four donors show up as the top 4 in a list for Warren and top a list for Brock, it is more
than a coincidence.
PAC or non-PAC, it doesn't change how bazaar it is.
