Elizabeth Warren
Related: About this forumSo, this guy has a point - Warren fails to unequivocally, totally, ‘Don’t ever ask me again’ deny...
"No"
Such a terse reply, issued without any explanation, is an unconvincing way to anesthetize speculation that she may mount a bid for the highest office in the land. The very word no is meaningless. Former Republican nominee Mitt Romney, for instance, used the word 12 times last year to say that he wouldnt run again: Oh, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no. Now there are multiple reports saying Romney is this close to entering the race.
Were to believe that one no will do? Looks like somebodys at least 1/12 short.
Its not like Warrens interviewer, Sheila Bair, did the general public any favors. Bair shouldve done what any good journalist is trained to do: Make Warren repeat the question back to her and answer in complete sentence form using at least three adverbs while placing one hand on a copy of Hard Choices.

(7,830 posts)as well. But the rumor I've heard here by people who claim to know him is that his wife has absolutely forbidden it and he's happy where he is. But this is good stuff, and I'd LOVE for him to change his mind as well~
Potential 2016 Democratic Presidential Candidate
U.S. Senator from Ohio
Sherrod Brown
Sherrod Campbell Brown
Born: September 9th, 1952 (age 62)
The two-term Senator and former seven-term House member from Ohio is possibly the closest true liberal in Congress today. While it is easy to simply pigeon-holed him as an anti-Bush, anti-war and anti-business activist, it would disregard his starring role in the liberal movement over the last two decades.
The sneakers-wearing one-time college professors advocacy of stem-cell research and minimum wage increase, along with his votes against raising the retirement age and free trade agreements, and his critique of big businesses influence on politics, are just some of the stances that has turn him into one of the most prominent flag bearers of the liberal cause.
His commitment to the unions and aggressive trade protectionism is perfectly illustrated by a signboard hung outside the Ohio Democratic Party headquarters, which reads: Only vehicles assembled by union workers in North America are welcome in this parking lot.
