Are there any guidelines for April 1 other than the usual? Or does this post serve as a reminder?

Like putting "satire", "/s", or "Spurious" and other phrases such as "The Onion" and so on, in the title.

It has gotten really hard to tell fact from fiction, as over 50% of internet traffic is now AI or bots, and of course, Mary Shelley, Edgar Alan Poe, Rod Serling, Gene Roddenberry and Ray Bradbury couldn't imagine news as far-fetched as today's happenings.

posted here did look at least possible, bizarre as the story was, until I saw that it was satire.

We need to realize, too, that something that's untrue that gets posted here can get copied elsewhere, with whoever fell for it possibly saying it was on Democratic Underground so they believe it.
