(7,942 posts)1. There's a box "Remain logged in at this computer?"
Check that when you enter your password.
Thing is, if your browser is set to reject cookies, or clear cookies/cache automatically, or you do it manually, that will erase the browser's memory of your credentials. It's also per computer/browser. If you switch systems, it won't remember your login and password.
If you have a browser that uses a "keychain" or a password database, you can also use that. Macs have a system-wide keychain, and Google Chrome (and other browsers) will offer to remember passwords if you have the option enabled in settings.

(4,906 posts)3. Try deleting your DU cookies (when the webpage isn't open)..
Then go to the webpage, and log-in with your name/password: check the 'remember me' button before submitting.

I have some "cookie delete" add-ons that I need to coerce into whitelisting DU.
