Women were beaten, imprisoned and force fed for the right to vote. Many more women picketed and supported them. Neither would have been as successful on their own, but together women are a force to be reckoned with. I wish women like Phyllis Schlafly would have STFU. Whether you want to be a homemaker or a lawyer equality should be a given. Instead she sat on her millions of dollars and told women they do not deserve the same pay as a man.
i have a special hate for old phyllis.
the era died in illinois, thanks to henry hyde. the 2 were best buds. one of these days i have to pay a visit to old henry's grave, so i can piss on it.
