History of Feminism
Related: About this forumOK. someone in GD called Trump "such a girl" and then talked about his hands again.
I told him I would thank him to put a cork in it. He's gonna go on my Ignore list but I'd like to see his repsonse and those of other readers. I've got two daughters and three granddaughters AND a son and two sons in law who are all fabulous feminists and raising my grandsons right and respectful of women. We're doing our part here and to read this guy's stupid shit just made me want to throw up.
thank you for reading my little rant. I just fucking hate to see such fast and loose misogynism on DU...

(55,033 posts)Misogyny has been standard for months and central to the vitriol against Clinton. It's a bit late to act concerned now, not after failing to denounce what has gone on for months. When "feminists" decided supporting their candidate required accommodating vile sexist attacks against someone who will be--despite their considerable efforts to the contrary--the first woman president in US history, they showed concerns about gender equality to be easily disposable. Bridges have been berned, and whatever feminism ever existed on this site lays in ashes.
