One of the incredibly important Mens Rights issues being discussed on the A Voice for Mens forums at the moment: Is Ronan Farrow really the biological son of Woody Allen and Mia Farrow, or is his father actually Frank Sinatra? I mean, sure, he doesnt look much like Woody, and Mia Farrow herself has acknowledged that Frankie may possibly have been the daddy.
But somehow this doesnt seem to me to be, er, the most important issue in ongoing story of Woody Allens awfulness as a human being.
To a regular contributor to the AVFM forums who calls himself Maxx, though, Frankie is key to the whole story.
Woody Allen's entire life has played out like a liberal dream turned abject nightmare
He smugly hooks up with a progressive feminist chick whos supposed to be outta his league, but of course that sort of stuff isnt supposed to apply in wonderful progressive unions that have evolved past their basic human nature right?
But wait
She cheats on him with the biggest alpha male she can find (Sinatra) and has Allen cuckolded into raising the mans kid.
Wait a minute wasnt Farrow supposed to be a modern women who had progressed past her biological hard-wired attraction to the protypical alpha male? I guess she wasnt as evolved as she thought she was in practice huh?

looks like Maxx is getting his ass handed to him.
I really hate this about Woody because .... ..... ART. *hangs head*
I saw Blue Jasmine (please don't throw rocks at me) and thought it was pure genius. Cate Blanchett and the whole cast were superb.
but, then I saw Magic in the Moonlight and went ... ew.
So, Woody has always been hit or miss for me and, I do see in his art his penchant for the older man/younger woman scenario.
but, he loves New York City and so do I ....
so, I have this problem.
on edit: because in his personal life I have concluded that Woody is gross. understatement. let me say this: I would not trust him with kids. no matter the gender.

(42,486 posts)I've been on a movie/TV break, but it sounded slightly like "The Human Centipede"--which is surreally disgusting!

I don't know ... it is one of those so bad so bad it's cult classic good material. maybe. I did a thread on it in the lounge last week.
