attitude they have. Regardless of the reasons why someone is opposing policies that we also oppose, we'll take it. Isn't that being politically 'pragmatic'? I've been told that when a Democrat votes AGAINST our interests, s/he is just being 'pragmatic'. And also told that being 'idealistic' is 'naive'. I'm all for taking that advice and being pragmatic when it comes to what benefits the people the most.

But nobody else is talking about it so it's better than nothing I guess?

I don't see why DHS needs any bullets or any crowd control weapons. It's a huge waste of money. The real reason for it is to give money the industries who make the weapons and gear, because they also fund political campaigns and give money to politicians and staffers via the revolving door.
