So so sorry for your loss.

I've been thinking of you & kids since I read of her passing.

Why wouldn’t people here care about you and what you’re going through now?

Most of us can’t be physically by your side at a time like this, but we can share a vigil and send encouragement and sympathy and support your way. And we can be here to listen when you need to unburden.

I always get a sense of comfort and reassurance when I remember what our own Skittles posted here, once upon a time, and what it’s meant to me during unsettling times: “someone’s always here.”

The hurt you are feeling. I just want you to know we love you and yours. I’m so very sorry.

Comes as quite a shock since we have always enjoyed your stories about your understanding wife, the boys and the pups. So it's a loss for us, too. Hang in there and please know that we're thinking of you, the boys and the pups and we're here for you, always.

There truly is no words…

Your posts so extraordinary, your life has sadness just like the rest of humankind.

...surely not so we can even imagine your own, but surely we all share in it.

It’s dyslexia

It's endearing.

Your wife always sounded like an amazing woman. So so sorry for your loss.

I've been through it myself, so I know something about what you're feeling. I unexpectedly lost my husband shortly before Christmas so I know it's especially hard around the holidays.

I'm sending a hug to you, your boys, and your pups. When I think of you writing that Mr. Big Paws keeps waiting by the gate, my heart breaks all over again for all of you.

Take care and know that we're all here for you.

I was devastated at the news and though I don't know how much sympathy helps, I do think the caring nature of a community reaching out just might. You are in my thoughts, along with your two-legged and four-legged "children."

I lit a candle for your dear beloved and hope you all find peace of mind and comfort.

Reading your posts over the years, it was apparent that your love for each other was absolutely amazing with a deep bond.

I almost think of you as family. I've been reading your posts on DU all these years. Your love for your wife and your family was a shining star. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

here and I’m sure around you who are thinking about you and your boys and sending you virtual good wishes. I know from your posts that you have many wonderful memories of your wife. May those memories support you in your grief.

I, like so many others here, have enjoyed and looked forward to your stories over the years. They exuded warmth, love, humor and gave us a small glimpse into you and your world. We loved what we saw and loved you for your wonderful generosity of sharing with us.

My heart breaks for your loss. I lost my husband this past January and so feel your pain. You’re sons lost their Mother, and that’s a real tough one. Take care of each other through this time of grief and mourning.

My love and best wishes for peace and comfort to you, the boys, the pups and all who love her and feel the loss.
