I'm so

tired of crying. We spent labor day with my mom - siblings couldn't bother. The for sale sign on their house did me in. I cried all the way home.

I miss my dad. I miss going out with my mom, I miss being able to walk, imiss my photography, and I miss driving my car.

I know you had a stroke. How is your health coming along? You must take care of yourself.

I hope you find a new normal for yourself, and a way to get back to doing some things you love, even if it is not in the same way. My brother found a way. His life is not the same, and he has had to rethink some things after his stroke, but he is doing it.

Keep remembering your dad, and spending what time you can with your mom. My heart goes out to you.

The passages of those we love and the passing of time can hurt so much.

I hope your health improves and you're able to get out more. I hope you're able to pick up your camera again to capture special moments in your life.

My heart goes out to you and to your Mom. The sale of her home must be awfully heartbreaking.

Please know that even although we are 'only names' on the computer in this electronic world, you are cared for and we're always here for you.

sincerely.

sometimes the universe seems to pile on, making it so hard to keep our head above the water.

but we do the best we can.

i'm sure you are very tired of crying. it's exhausting missing so much. and while i haven't gone through the physical loss you're experiencing (walking, driving, etc) i can definitely relate to that sense of loss & missing. and for me to say it sucks would be a ridiculous understatement.

i'm glad you at least have someone who is there for you.

(sending you a bit of warmth & love tonight. )

I felt overwhelmed when I wrote that. Fortunately it's not always that bad.

i go through a lot of peaks and valleys.

there are a lot of triggers for me. even when a day feels lighter & brighter, it can still surprise me by crashing in on me. (i hate it when that happens.)

valleys are exhausting, aren't they?

I hope it gets better for you.

How could I not know that the death of a loved one would be crushing? I think I have been pushing grief down since I was 7 and my 7 year old cousin and playmate died.

I've had a couple of small breakthroughs. I used the mouse for the first time and can now hold my Nikon to take photos.

I'm still swamped with grief.
