...there has been a rash of what I call "The Indian Princess Syndrome" among certain "people" in regard to Sephardic ancestry. I knew they were trying to pin it down. I have to let me friend in Seatle know about this, though he already knows because of a detailed genealogy from this grandmother, before she passed.

10. If you look at the percentage of DNA that is SJ, you can estimate the connection.

We can guess the ancestor who was SJ.

For example, if it is 100% it is both parents.
50% is one parent.
25% is one grandparent.
12.5% is one great grandparent.
6% is one great great grandparent.

If you are on Ancestry they will show you the parent and the matches that
go to that piece of DNA.
