Easter services
Which is your favorite service? Here at St. Matthew's Episcopal we have three, Saturday night, sunrise and regular 10a.m. I've gone to all three as a choir member, but I really like Saturday night. It's dramatic with the lighting of the fire and the torch lit procession into the church. Yeah, we stand outside no matter the weather and in Wyoming it could be snowing!

Yep Im in the choir and we sing a lot. Good news is we are an excellent choir so it is enjoyable. (Most if the time) But it is a time commitment. Services dont count as rehearsal time so there has been a good 3 hours of that this week, too.
FWIW - ELCA Lutheran and no one forces me to do this. I love choral singing especially under the direction of a really good director. But I will admit by the time the last service is over Im done and ready to go home, slip out of my heels, and relax for the rest of the day.
Easter blessings to all of you
