Had a frightening dream last night
Dreamed I was working in the yard when the wind picked up and intensified as the sky turned dark gray. Heard a roaring noise and screamed to my husband and daughter "Take cover, it's a tornado!" I was huddled up face down at the back of the house when it hit.
At that point I woke up, shaking.
It was probably about the shitstorm that's about to hit this country at 12:01 p.m. tomorrow.

It's not easy right now as I am still grieving the loss of my dog Penny. two weeks ago.

My beloved senior rescue kitty, Trixie, made the journey in mid-July. She'd been ruling the roost here for 14 years.

Grieving is very hard work, physically, too. Pls be very gentle with yourself. Sleep when you need to, cry when you need to, & pls remember to breathe deeply, eat nutritious food, & only engage others on your terms.
