I need prayers, vibes, whatever.
My farm has been under contract since last November, and two closing dates have come and gone, with extensions every time. It is becoming a financial burden, as I'm not living there and paying two mortgages.
The closing date is set for July 30.
I know nothing from my Realtor at the moment, even though he has tried to get the other Realtor to communicate. It's a three way thing - the buyer is selling a piece of property to a builder, and the buyer, a developer, is needing that to close so he can buy my farm.
Please help! Any light would be especially appreciated.

(2,593 posts)This group has kept me sane for the last two and a half years since my husband died.
I was very fortunate and found a new love, and we were married last December, on the 21st, at 11 AM Central. Yes, the solstice.
LOL.
We are so happy. But we are paying two mortgages and it has put a financial strain on us. We are handling it fine, but I long to have this resolved.
I appreciate all of your kind thoughts.

It will surely feel like a weight has been lifted.

Mercury goes retro on the 5th. I am getting nervous.
LOL
Not really. We have decided that if it does not close, we are not extending.
We would rather rent the property to someone and keep it.

(14,881 posts)stopping hoping for one outcome, drawing line in sand, and making backup plan, is all it takes to nudge things forward.
Hopefully that will work for you too, or that the perfect tenant will show up on time.
We had a farm that took 2 years to sell. It was rough at times.
But if you really love the place after all, maybe you aren't meant to sell.
I hope for the very best outcome for all concerned.
Have a wonderful Sunday, Pink Tiger.

(2,593 posts)It was my late husband's farm, and it became mine after he died.
It was all I had from him, and I could not really move on until it sold.
Now that it is sold, I feel 100 percent better.
My new life, with a new husband and a stepdaughter, is wonderful. I am blessed.
Thanks for your good wishes.

(2,593 posts)I have to learn to trust my instincts more.
I did something last week, though, based on my instincts - and today I feel very sad about doing it.
Even tho I know it was the best thing.
I began a job in early September and quit last week because the office atmosphere was poison.
One woman screamed and yelled and slammed things for an hour in her office because I told her "no."
And this wasn't the first time.
And the other lady really hated me because when I was hired she felt she had been "demoted."
I decided that since I didn't need the money anyway, to quit.
And now I'm home and feeling a bit sorry. LOL.
I can't win.
