Thank you Jesus

A couple of good Samaritans went through the local laundromat and paid for people's wash. I sprung for hot water which costs 50 cents extra.

I told them I was an atheist but they said it was OK because Jesus loves me.

At least 75% of the population.

Admittedly, that number is a bit lower than it had been in, say, the 80s. The radicalization of right-wing fundamentalism turned some people away.

But Christians control the country.

Christianity in multiple forms is the state religion of the following 15 nations: Argentina (Catholic Church),[9] Armenia (Armenian Apostolic Church), Tuvalu (Church of Tuvalu), Tonga (Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga), Costa Rica (Catholic Church),[10] Kingdom of Denmark (Danish National Church),[11] England (Church of England),[12] Greece (Eastern Orthodox Church), Georgia (Eastern Orthodox Church),[13][14] Iceland (Church of Iceland),[15] Liechtenstein (Catholic Church),[16] Malta (Catholic Church),[17] Monaco (Catholic Church),[18] Vatican City (Catholic Church),[19] and Zambia.[20]

NOWHERE is the USA mentioned as one of the nations with Christianity as the "state religion."

Please don't add to my words.

And so I was a couple of percentage points off. In the words of Pat Paulsen, "Picky, picky, picky." LOL

I wonder
Since this is a Christian nation, why are there so many poor?

What else would you distort "Christian nation" into?

I'm wondering if you are talking about Protestants or Catholics and Protestants? Since "Christian" is a catch all for many religious affiliations.

And by the way, I am also interested in hearing you explain the relationship between being or not being poor and being Christian.

I never said "state religion". Calling this a Christian nation is what the right calls it.

If this is a Christian nation filled with Christians who practice what they preach, then why are there so many poor?
