Definitely taking steps in the right direction. Still a long way to go, however:
Acceptance of homosexuality varies but is low or extremely low across the region. In Lebanon, despite having a reputation for being more socially liberal than its neighbours, the figure is 6%.

Ugh, the contents of the poll make me ill, but it does represent an improvement I guess.

offhand, acceptance of both honor killings and homosexuality are correlated.

Having sexist views is one thing, believing that someone deserves to be killed for behaving "shamefully" is just barbaric.
