This frightening snapshot of evangelical Christianity — courtesy of several creepy-as-hell clips from TV shows, sermons, and weird after-school-special-like plays — ought to be huge incentive for all of you to vote for the most liberal candidates on the ballot today.

How the hell did our country ever come to believe these were among the finest arbiters of morality…?

What’s scary is that these aren’t just cringe-worthy videos from the 1980s. Some of them are recent. The quality is better, but the message is no less awful. It’s just fear-mongering in the name of Jesus.
