Related: About this forumHas anyone ever gone to a Turkish bath house?
Or just had a Turkish bath?
I'm curious if parts of the process is in a shared (public) space? Also, if you wore a swim suit.
I have some free time in Istanbul and was thinking a bath might be an inciting experience.

just ask for protocols. people LOVE to help with things like this. bathing suits allowed where I went, but it was a somewhat local touristy area and on a lake shore so there were various water things to do, including mud baths, hot spring soaking, lake swimming, indoor women's, indoor men's, and out door both.
