Related: About this forumAny "Cure" for being able to see my phone in sunlight? Tried to play Pokeman GO this AM and
the sun made it impossible to see my screen and therefore where I am supposed to go.

(12,360 posts)1. The only way I've been able to do it is
polarized sun/reading glasses, increase the brightness greatly, and have an external battery pack because it's going to eat up juice. It's the same thing I have to do if I'm on a long car trip and am using Google maps, except then I'm able to plug it straight into the car.
We're planning a camping trip in August and just stocked the family up on external batteries - PNY brand, a single charge battery for $10, a double pack of single charge batteries for $14.00 at Staples. You could also get the 2X charge single battery pack for $18. So far, working like a charm!
