On August 9, 2012, the Kickstarter finished with $8,596,475 at 904% of their goal.
This made the Ouya Kickstarter the second highest earning in the website's history.

It will improve the gaming no end. Touch screen gaming isn't all that really, can't beat a pad.

Sony and Microsoft will keep making high end/high cost games machines with the games costing WAY TOO MUCH. Love Nintendo personally and I'm interested in the WiiU but worry about games cost like the other main too. Whether the OUYA pans out will depend on the quality of what the Android market throws out (it is after all Android based). Mobile games have come a long way now and are very close to current gen on looks (highend moblies). This cheap unit isn't too much an investment really hope high sales will increase the quality of the Android market, no longer limited by touch screens only. Majong is on board so I'm happy.... £5.99 Minecraft on your TV anyone?
