Often overlooked because of Dwight Clark's catch: there were NINE turnovers, six by San Francisco and three by Dallas. Montana was intercepted three times, though one of those was off a tip by a receiver. The last turnover, committed by Danny White of the Cowboys, won the game for San Francisco. White fumbled at mid-field as Dallas was driving for a game-winning field goal attempt. The 49ers Jim Stucky recovered and S.F. ran out the clock.
Game was replayed on the NFL network Friday. Vin Scully and Hank Stram called the play-by-play for CBS. I thought Scully did a great job.
