Does anyone else feel rushed? I swear they expect every interview to be 30 seconds. ESPN is so far behind real time they need a time out.
I think last year in Green Bay was a better show since the league didn't try to 'improve' it!

Seriously?
Is there an effort to shift focus away from analysis to inexpensive time-filler? The old ESPN shows hosted by Chris Berman were more insightful. If someone traded down or traded up there'd be a minute of strategy discussion on that alone.
I don't feel rushed. I feel like I'm watching draft coverage that has been dumbed-down.
Maybe Round 2 will be different.

(1,065 posts)But I do follow the results. Some of the picks this year are bizarre; none more so than the Rams choosing Ty Simpson with the 13th overall pick. He's undersized and really unproven; he played just 13 games at Alabama. Drafting someone to watch and learn from future Hall of Famer Matthew Stafford makes some sense, but they have a small window in which to try and get a championship. Getting Stafford some help was what most analysts expected the team to do. Even if they did fall for Simpson, he has a third round grade. They could and should have traded down if they were going to pick Simpson.
Wasting a first round pick is obviously pretty stupid. Wasting a pick in the first half of the first round is malpractice. Sean McVay must be beside himself.
