Ole Miss is now the last SEC team still in the playoff

Many experts didn't give Ole Miss much of a chance and the narrative was because their coach left. They had to beat the SEC Champion Georgia so it was a guarantee at least 1 SEC team would be in the semifinals.

2 Big Ten teams in Indiana & Oregon play each other in the Peach Bowl semifinal. Miami (ACC) & Ole Miss will play each other in the Fiesta Bowl semifinal on Thursday.

Not so much Ole Miss but there isn't a team left that I wouldn't mind win the title and they are all deserving of the chance. Glad analysts don't decide the games.

Kiffen can eat it. My daughter was at UT when he pull this same stunt. He is hated by many. Congrats Ole Miss. I am happy for the young men and the coach.
Just don’t beat my Ducks if we both get there.

This has been a hell of a ride so far. We barely slipped into the playoffs but have certainly shown that we belong. My expectations have been exceeded so the rest is gravy at this point.

All of the recent powerhouses are gone. Good to see some different teams for a change.

I attended Embry Riddle in Daytona in the early 70s. Became a Cane fan because my two best friends from high school, a Gator and a Seminole, would constantly brag about their football teams. Miami beat them both. Every year. The 23 year drought of year end championship hopes is apparently over. This team could beat anyone. Hopefully will! 🙌

Had a former co worker I disliked who was a huge Georgia fan. Thinking about him believing they were going to win until the very end put a smile on my face.

There was only one team that I despised and I did not want to win, and now that they've been bounced, I'm just going to enjoy the games.

Good luck to the remaining teams.

Truth be told, this West Coaster watches very few SEC conference games so I was surprised when I saw Timmy pontificating on the TV. I started riffing on this hilarious trolling photo taken on his first day on the job when his MLB aspirations crashed and burned and landed a gig as a talking head with the SEC
