A Saints Fan reminiscing

As I hunt and peck the Saints are losing to the Packers 24 To NOTHING.

As my mind wanders the Saints scored on their first 11 possessions of the Season. And then, well you know the script. There will be no Saints in the Super Bowl on Super Sunday in the Big Easy in 2025.

But. Those in the Big Easy Party win or lose.

They coulda been a contenda.

i had the bag out much earlier in the season.

all teams have injuries, but this has been crushing.

rizzi has earned another season, i think, and the defense is promising but

the really great players : cam jordan, demario davis, taysom hill, the honey badger may be past their time.

"wait til next year"

btw : i worked at the super bowl when kansas city beat minnesota at tulane stadium 1/2 century ago. this may be a rematch

I was a High School sophomore in Arkansas during that Super Bowl. Lived 50 miles from NOLA for 30 years. Loved the place.

Lived walking distance from Salmen High School. Went to the Salmen-John Curtis Championship game at the Dome in 2000. Salmen won. Benny Grunch still our favorite Christmas Music. Miss groceries at Rouses. Navy Buddy of mine went to Auburn, graduated sometime in mid 70s. All great memories for us.
