i llke imitating bird calls . i like it when the birds answer back or come to me .

pretty soon i am going to stop for the next several months as i dont want to confuse the baby birds . ill pick up in the summer.

That is such a great skill! What are all the bird calls you can do? In my neighborhood in New Orleans, it's crow central and I talk to them but they mostly ignore me

crows cawing wildly in a grove of trees, that’s akin to a spiritual experience. Talk about a sound healing bath!

Local Audubon chapter arranged for a night "Owl Prowl."

It was around 11:30 pm and Mike says there was a Long Eared Owl here yesterday. I'll see if I can get him to return a call. Mike was wearing a wide brim hat. He calls the owl and seconds later, the owl comes from the tree and takes his hat off for him.

If he wasn't wearing a hat, he probably would have been dead from blood loss.


Now "THAT"S" a bird call.


There is one confirmed death caused by owl attack in Maine and possible another in North Carolina.
