is that they can screw with an opponents' psyche. The next team that faces Helsley -- or the same team -- might push harder than they otherwise would. Swing at even worst pitches, over-swing, unnecessarily adjust timing, etc.

Now that my Giants are out of it I'm pulling for the Cardinals.
